The “Freedom and Change” forces called on the UN Security Council to set up an independent commission to investigate the “crimes” committed by the Sudanese authorities since October 25th.
“The military continues to commit crimes against humanity, and the number of injured and martyrs is increasing,” said a statement issued by the forces, the former ruling coalition.
“Today, the coup d’état continues to be suppressed, targeting people’s demonstrations with fatal chest and head injuries, and continuing to attack hospitals and health institutions,” the statement said.
“All of this constitutes a crime in humanitarian, national and international law, so the Forces for Freedom and Change are calling on the UN Security Council to set up an independent commission to investigate crimes that the authority has been committing since October 25th,” he said.
