The Sudan Doctors Committee later reported that seven protesters were killed and dozens injured.

The UN mission condemned the continued use of violence and live ammunition during today’s demonstrations, saying it was unacceptable. and want this violence to stop. “We reiterate the call for the authorities to stop resorting to violence against peaceful demonstrators and to conduct credible investigations in such cases,” the statement said.

In continuation of the violence later, units from the security forces attacked the crowds of mourners, heading for the burial cemetery.

At the time of writing, no statements had been made by the coup government regarding what happened on Monday, while several revolutionary forces announced an agreement to declare mass civil disobedience and further escalation against the military establishment.
