As COVID-19 surge, School holiday extended for two weeks

Khartoum, (SUNA) – The Higher Committee for Health Emergencies, headed by the Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Dr. Abdul-Baqhi Abdul-Gadir Al-Zubair, issued a decision today, extending the holiday for the first period of schools in the state of Khartoum, until the twenty-first of next February, which was scheduled to start On the first of February and ends on the seventh of it.

The decision of the Supreme Committee for Health Emergencies to extend the holiday for the first period of schools for an additional two weeks, was a result of the steady increase in the number of COVID-19 pandemic.
