Al-Yurae- Khartoum-(SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, issued today a decision relieving Counselor Ali Abdul Rahman Muhammad Idris, Head of the Appeal Committee against the decisions of the Empowerment Removal and Anti-Corruption Committee and the Restoration of Public Funds from his position.
In his replacement Al-Burhan, issued a decision appointing the member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Al-Taher Hajar as the Chairman of the Appeal committee. against the decisions of the Empowerment Removal Committee.
After the 25 October 2021 coup General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has arrested and dissolved the previous members of the Empowerment Removal and Anti-Corruption Committee and the Restoration of Public Funds from their positions, and many of its rulings were overturned by the high court.
