Al-Yurae- UN Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan said that it held a meeting with the Sudan Liberation Movement led by Abdel Wahid Mohamed Nur, which it considered an opportunity to exchange views on a political transition followed by addressing the root causes through a Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue.
In an important exchange of views yesterday in Juba, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) expressed support for the work of the tripartite mechanism and the need for a transition that addresses Sudan’s constituent issues.
The tripartite mechanism held meetings on Thursday in Juba with the leaders of the SPLM-N and the Sudan Liberation Movement, as part of its efforts to resolve the Sudanese crisis.
