Sudan regains top spot with hat-trick in South Sudan

Juba-(SUNA) – Sudan regained the top spot in Group B of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup with a 0-3 victory over its brother South in Juba Stadium.   

Sudan scored a hat-trick Pogba with a header at the end of the first half and Yasser Muzammil with the beginning of the second half and  Saif before the end of the match and made Abdul Raouf the first and third goals and contributed to the second and deprived the South goalkeeper of the opening of the scoring with a strong shot.  Sudan achieved its third consecutive victory and was alone in the lead with ten points, two points ahead of Senegal, which will meet it in the stadium chosen by Sudan in the fifth round in March next year.
