The government announces extension of the opening of the Adre border crossing with Chad.

Port Sudan (SUNA) – The Sudanese government announced on Wednesday its decision to extend the opening of the Adre border crossing with Chad for the delivery of humanitarian aid and assistance to those affected by the war in the country for an additional three months, from May 16 to August 15, 2025. This decision reflects the government’s commitment to facilitating the flow of relief to its citizens impacted by the conflict, as part of its positive cooperation and engagement with the international community in this regard
